The Team

Everett graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration from the Whitemore School at the University of New Hampshire in 1971. He completed 2½ years of Civil Engineering and numerous courses in art and architecture at the same time.

Before founding Northcape Design in 1987, Everett was a partner in the construction firm of Marro & Pollard, Inc. for 12 years.

Everett lives with his wife Robin in the village of Sunapee, less than a six-minute walk from the Northcape Office!

Kevin joined the Northcape team in June of 1997. He attended Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire receiving a BS degree in the individualized major of Building Construction & Business Management.

From 1988 to 1997, Kevin owned and operated his own successful construction firm — Rickard Construction.

Kevin and his wife Elaine live in Sunapee with their 2 children, Ben and Suzanne.

Scott began his career at Northcape Design in May of 1997. He graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and Mechanical Design from the New Hampshire Vocational Technical Institute and went on to receive a Bachelors in Engineering Technology from the University of New Hampshire.

For many years in the Lake Sunapee area, Scott owned his own construction company — Scott McKenney Builders, Inc.

Scott and his wife Wendy life in Georges Mills with their two dogs, Zander and Sassy.

Robin graduated "Cum Laude" from the University of New Hampshire in 1976 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Putting her degree to great use, she spent many years in managerial positions in both the retail and restaurant worlds.

Robin has been an integral part of Northcape Design from the beginning and is even responsible for naming our company. She is and has been gofer, painter, bookkeeper, gardener and marketing genie.

Robin lives with Everett, of course, along with their two cats, Marjorie and Fannie Fern, and their mischievous Airedale, Timberframe.

Carol came to work for Northcape in April of 2005. She is a 1988 graduate of Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Before joining Northcape she worked for several of the best law firms in New Hampshire, as well as a world-wide accounting firm.

Carol is the glue that holds it all together. With a desk right in the middle of everything, she is the administrator extraordinaire!

Carol lives in Sunapee with her 2 girls, Kristy and Laura.

Jim began working for Northcape Design in 2000. For many years he augmented his career in the ski industry by working for construction and production companies is the greater Lake Sunapee area.

Jim brings a wealth of knowledge to his position as Project Manager. Plus, as the best skier at Northcape, he's the one who always organizes our annual company "ski day" at Mt. Sunapee Resort!

Jim, his wife Jennifer and their sons, Zachary and Parker, live in a home they built for themselves in Newbury.

Our newest team member, Matthew came on board at Northcape Design in August of 2007, bringing a strong background of knowledge in engineering and construction.

He graduated from The University of New Hampshire with an BS degree in Civil Engineering. Before joining Northcape, Matthew worked for a civil engineering firm and then as project manager for a builder of custom homes.

Matthew and his wife Kathryn live in New London with their two children, Jackson and Grace.

Todd joined the design team of Northcape Design in August of 2003. He was educated in Arizona, receiving his Associate Degree in 1989 in Drafting/CAD Technology from the High-Tech Institute in Phoenix.

A master of AutoCAD, Todd has put his drafting skills to work in many fields — commercial blueprints, topographic maps, underground piping, mechanical machine parts — to name a few!

Todd and his wife Jen live in Newport with their 2 daughters, Megan and McKenna.

Tracy joined the design team of Northcape in June of 2005. He brings a wealth of knowledge in architectural design acquired from several years of study at the Boston Architectural Center. He then went on to hone his design skills by working for several of New Hampshire's most prestigious architectural firms.

In 1998 he started his own successful design firm with which he continued until he came on board with Northcape Design. Tracy lives in Bedford, New Hampshire with his wife Barbara, their two sons, Cory and Connor, and their chocolate lab Dakota.

Steve started with Northcape Design in 2002. With an educational background in Business Administration, he also owned the construction firm Mink Hills Construction.

Steve is an invaluable team member, doing a little bit of this and a lot of that for everyone! He is the one who finishes the "punch lists" and fills in when a crew is short. We'd be lost without him!

Steve lives in Sunapee, enjoying many outdoor sports and running several websites in his spare time.
